AUTHORIZING THE CONDUCT OF A "VALIDATION WORKSHOP ON THE FORMULATION OF AN INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM OF REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JUDICIARY" AND THE PARTICIPATION OF OFFICIALS THEREIN
As one of the activities identified under the Action Program for Judicial Reform (APJR), a study is being conducted by the Program Management Office through a World Bank-Policy and Human Resource Development Grant towards the formulation of an "Infrastructure Program of the Judiciary."
A critical part of the study is the formulation of a "Screening and Prioritization Methodology" and the adoption of a definite set of "Evaluation Criteria" which will be used to determine which projects will be included in the Short-, Medium- and Long-term Infrastructure Program of the Judiciary.
Towards this concern, the conduct of a "Validation Workshop on the Infrastructure Program of Requirements for the Judiciary on 08 May 2003 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Lotus Garden Hotel, Manila is hereby authorized.
The workshop aims to inter alia : (1) refine the screening and prioritization methodology and arrive at a mutually agreeable evaluation criteria; (2) establish a definite evaluation criteria to determine projects that will constitute the infrastructure program; and (3) assess and validate the framework formulated, and other initial findings necessary for the finalization of the formulation of the program of requirements for the Judiciary.

Participation in the workshop shall be on official time. All expenses related to this workshop such as food, accommodation, facilitation costs, transportation expenses, supplies and materials, gasoline and other contingencies and miscellaneous expenses shall be charged to the UICI contract.
Above-named participants are requested to give priority to this undertaking.
