SUBJECT : REVOCATION OF NOTARIAL COMMISSION AND DISQUALIFICATION FROM REAPPOINTMENT AS NOTARY PUBLIC FOR TWO (2) YEARS OF ATTY. MYRNA D. SANTIAGO

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 5 June 2017 of the First Division in Administrative Case No. 10683, entitled "Rodolfo.S. Beltran, Complainant, v. Atty. Myrna D. Santiago, Respondent" to wit:

WHEREFORE, this Court finds respondent Atty. Myrna D. Santiago GUILTY of violation of the Notarial Law. Accordingly, her notarial commission as a notary public is SUSPENDED for two (2) years and she is reprimanded to be more circumspect in her duties as a notary public. .

Further, the undated Motion to Lift Order of Suspension is DENIED for lack of merit.

As per Registry Return Receipt No. 3885, respondent received a copy of the aforesaid Resolution on 24 July 2017.
