SUBJECT:
COURT-RELATED COMMUNICATIONS ADDRESSED TO FOREIGN EMBASSIES IN MANILA .
The Department of Foreign Affairs requests that court-related communications meant for the Embassies in Manila be coursed, whenever possible, to the Department of Foreign Affairs (Attention; Office of Legal Affairs), in accordance with international convention and protocol.
Henceforth, to ensure the proper transmittal of documents, all communications, orders and notices addressed to Foreign Embassies in Manila must be coursed through the Office of the Legal Affairs. Department of Foreign Affairs for proper transmittal to the foreign embassies concerned by diplomatic note.
This is a reiteration of Circular No. 3-91 dated May 20, 1991 issued by then Court Administrator Josue N. Bellosillo and Circular No. 22 dated September 2, 1987 issued by then Chief Justice Claudio Teehankee.
Strict compliance is hereby enjoined.
