TO:

SUBJECT: HOUSE BILL NO. 11903 ENTITLED "AN ACT DECLARING THE EXEMPTION OF THE JUDICIARY FROM THE COVERAGE OF R.A. NO. 6758 OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE SALARY STANDARDIZATION LAW"

In order to promote and enhance the independence of the judiciary, especially with regards to its Fiscal Autonomy, and to enable to have a free hand in determining the proper salary rates for judges and court personnel, the Honorable Deputy Speaker Erico B. Aumentado introduced House Bill No. 11903 entitled "An Act Declaring The Exemption of the Judiciary And Its Personnel from the Coverage of R.A. No. 6758, otherwise known as the Salary Standardization Law."

This bill, once enacted into Law, would surely benefit the Judiciary.

This Office is therefore urging you to write to your respective congressmen for the approval of the bill.
