SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) YEAR OF ATTY. DOMINGO S. CRUZ

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the Third Division dated 13 November 2013 in Administrative Case No. 7030 entitled "Franklin C. Ramos vs. Atty. Domingo S. Cruz" to wit:

WHEREFORE, the Court finds Atty. Domingo S. Cruz GUILTY of misconduct for violating Canon 15, Rule 15.03 of the Code of Professional Responsibility and SUSPENDS him from the practice of law for one (1) year effective upon his receipt of this Resolution with a warning that his commission of a similar offense will be dealt with more severely.

Respondent received on 04 December 2013, the said Resolution. In the Resolution dated 05 March 2014, the Court DENIED with FINALITY the respondent's motion for reconsideration as no substantial matters were raised to warrant its reconsideration.
