Attached for your reference and guidance is a copy of UN Security Council Resolution No. 883 (1993) which took effect on December 1, 1993, imposing sanctions against Libya in the areas of air travel, financial resources, arms trading, insurance and diplomatic representation as contained in the letter of DFA Secretary Roberto R. Romulo on November 26, 1993 to the Governor of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, copy likewise attached.
