SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) YEAR OF ATTYS. JOHN G. REYES, ROQUE BELLO AND CARMENCITAA ROUS-GONZAGA

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the Second Division dated 22 August 2012 in Administrative Case No. 9090 [Formerly CBD Case No. 04- 1205] entitled "Teodoro B. Cruz, Jr. vs. Attys. John G. Reyes, Roque Bello and Carmencita A. Rous-Gonzaga" to wit:

The Court resolves to:

1. SUSPEND Atty. John G. Reyes from the practice of law for one (1) year, effectively immediately;

2. IMPLEAD Attys. Roque Bello and Carmencita A. Rous-Gonzaga in this administrative proceedings; and

3. REMAND the whole records of this case to the Integrated Bar of the Philippines for further investigation, report and recommendation with respect to the charges against Atty. Roque Bello and Atty. Carmencita A. Rous- Gonzaga.

The Court NOTES the Report dated 10 July 2012 of the Office of the Bar Confidant.

As shown in the Registry Return Receipt, respondent received on 19 September 2012 the Resolution dated 22 August 2012.
