AUTHORIZING THE ATTENDANCE-OF SELECTED JUDGES IN THE PERSONAL SECURITY TRAINING FOR JUDGES

The Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA), in coordination with the Supreme Court Committee on Security, the Office of the Court Administrator (OCA), and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), and in partnership with the EU-Philippines Justice Support Programme, will hold a three (3) day COURTROOM SECURITY TRAINING FOR JUDGES, on 11-13 October 2010, at Imperial Palace Suites, Timog Avenue corner Tomas Morato Avenue, Quezon City.

This training aims to enable the judges to understand the need for professional awareness; understand the need for vulnerability assessment; know current courthouse/room security standards of physical security; know current courthouse/room security standards of practice; understand the basic dynamics and operations needed in planning a high risk-high profile trial; and understand the basic need for advance planning for emergency events.
