The DMW wishes to inform the public that the Republic of Korea designated the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs' Korea Agency of Education, Promotion and Information Service in Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (EPiS as the "Central Government Agency Specialized in the Seasonal Worker Program."Thusno private entity in Korea is authorized to facilitate sisterhood or twinning agreements with local government units in Korea.

The DMW reiterates that involvement of brokers in the recruitment and deployment of seasonal workers is expressly prohibited. Accordingly the DMW hereby advises Philippine Local Government Units against dealing with private entities that offers cooperation in the recruitment, screening and training of applicants for seasonal workers in the Republic of Korea.
