Call for Nominations for the 2025 Bagong Bayani Awards
The Bagong Bayani Foundation, Inc. (BBFI) now accepts the 2025 Bagong Bayani Awards (BBA) nominations. The BBFI is a non-stock, non-profit organization conceived to uphold the new
Migrant Workers (DMW), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), and the industry heroes of our time, the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). It works alongside the Department of associations, paying tribute to OFWs through the Bagong Bayani Awards.

Since its inception in 1984, One Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty (1,730) OFWs have already been awarded for their notable achievements and adherence to existing labor migration rules and regulations.
The BBA has seven (7) award categories, which are as follows: 1. Bagong Bayani Award for Outstanding Employee -- Conferred to Filipino migrant workers who have earned the respect, trust, and confidence of their employer, superiors
contributing to the growth or well-being of the company they work or have worked for. Furthermore, they have consistently manifested a strong work ethic, concern for the company, and a positive rapport with their colleagues. and co-workers. They have proven their competence through promotions, rank advancements, citations, or awards for distinguished and outstanding work performance
2 Bagong Bayani Award for Community and Social Service -- Nominees for the award
must have initiated or have been sincerely involved, whether in the country or abroad, in community or socially relevant services or activities aimed at either helping or extending assistance to fellow workers or their families or promoting the Philippines as a business or tourism destination. Likewise, they have selflessly offered their time, skills, and/or resources, in a collective or personal capacity, to engage in such community services or activities that are beneficial to the people.
3. Bagong Bayani Award for Culture and the Arts -- Conferred to nominees who have
worked or have been involved in the promotion, preservation, and development of Filipino abroad thereby earning recognition, adulation, or honor for Filipino artistry and talent. culture and the arts overseas. They should also have excelled in their work as an artist
