SUBJECT : LIFTING OF SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW OF ATTY. FRANCISCO DY YAP
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 7 December 2016 of the Third Division in Administrative Case No. 5914, entitled "Spouses Rogelio Amatorio and Aida Amatorio v. Atty. Francisco Dy Yap and Atty. Whelma F. Siton- Yap," to wit:
The Court resolves to NOTE Atty. Francisco Yap's Compliance dated August 2, 2016 with the Resolution of September 14, 2016, submitting the original copies of the certifications issued by the Office of the Negros Oriental Integrated Bar of the Philippines Chapter and the Office of Executive Judge, Regional Trial Court, Dumaguete City.
Acting on the Office of the Bar Confidant's (OBC) Report and Recommendation dated November 8, 2016, on Atty. Francisco Yap's Compliance of August 2, 2016, recommending that Atty. Francisco Yap's suspension be now considered lifted and that he be allowed to resume his law practice, the Court upon the recommendation of the OBC, further resolves to LIFT the order of suspension and ALLOW him to RESUME his law practice. The said report and recommendation of the OBC is NOTED .
