SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS OF ATTY. CARMELITA BAUTISTA-LOZADA
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Decision of the Third Division dated 11 March 2015 in Administrative Case No. 7593, entitled "Alvin S. Feliciano vs. Atty. Carmelita Bautista-Lozada," to wit:
WHEREFORE, premises considered, Atty. Carmelita S. Bautista-Lozada is found GUILTY of violating Section 27, Rule 138 of the Rules of Court, and is hereby SUSPENDED for a period of six (6) months from the practice of law, with a WARNING that a repetition of the same or similar offense will warrant a more severe penalty.
In a Resolution dated 15 July 2015, the Court DENIED WITH FINALITY the respondent's motion for reconsideration as there is no substantial matters were raised to warrant its reconsideration. As shown in the Registry Return Receipt No. 16411, Respondent received on 2 September 2015, the Resolution dated 15 July 2015.
