:ATTENDANCE AT THE NATIONAL CONSULTATIVE CONFERENCE ON PEACE AND ORDER ON 8 SEPTEMBER 2001 AT WESTIN PHILIPPINE PLAZA, CCP COMPLEX, ROXAS BLVD., MANILA

Pursuant to the Presidential directive to address the crime problem, the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) will hold a "National Consultative Conference on Peace and Order" on 8 September 2001, Saturday, at the Visayas Ballroom, Westin Philippine Plaza, CCP Complex, Roxas Blvd., Manila. The conference is expected to produce an action plan detailing strategies on the four crimes of major concern namely: kidnap for ransom, illegal drug trafficking, violent crimes against women and children, and illegal gambling (jueteng).

The NAPOLCOM has allotted five (5) participants for the Supreme Court. The following Judges of the Regional Trial Court and personnel of the Supreme Court are therefore authorized to participate in the Seminar:

1) Executive Judge Oscar C. Herrera, Jr. Regional Trial Court Branch 20, Malolos, Bulacan;

2) Vice Executive Judge Benjamin M. Aquino, Jr. Regional Trial Court Br. 72, Malabon City

3) Judge Zosimo V. Escano Regional Trial Court Br. 259, Parañaque City

4) Atty. Edna B. Camba Court Atty. VI Office of the Reporter Supreme Court

5) Mr. Danilo Pablo SC Chief Judicial Staff Officer Security Division Office of Administrative Services Supreme Court

A report on the attendance should be submitted to this Office within ten (10) days from 8 September 2001.
