SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) YEAR OF ATTY. EMILIO P. RAMOS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the First Division dated 26 January 2015 in Administrative Case No. 10385, entitled "[formerly CBD No. 11- 3137] (Winfredo R. Sollano vs. Atty. Emilio P. Ramos," to wit:

The Court resolves to ADOPT and APPROVE the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommendations of the Investigating Commissioner in the attached Report dated July 11, 2012 (Annex "A") as approved with modification by the Board of Governors of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines in IBP Board Resolution No. XX-2013-786 dated June 22, 2013 (Annex "B"). Accordingly, respondent Atty. Emilio P. Ramos is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for three (3) months for being negligent in the performance of his profession.

Respondent did not file his motion for reconsideration despite receipt on 18 May 2015 the Resolution dated 26 January 2015.
