SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. EUGENIO S. TUMULAK FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR TWO (2) YEARS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Decision dated 14 March 2017 of the Court En Banc in Administrative Case No. 11385 entitled "Ortigas Plaza Development Corporation, represented by Janice Montero v. Atty. Eugenio S. Tumulak," to wit:

ACCORDINGLY, the Court FINDS and DECLARES respondent ATTY. EUGENIO S. TUMULAK guilty of violating the Lawyer's Oath and Canon 1, and Rule 1.01 and 1.02 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, and SUSPENDS him from the practice of law for a period of TWO (2) YEARS EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, with the STERN WARNING that any similar infraction in the future will be dealth with more severely.

This decision is IMMEDIATELY EXECUTORY.

As stated in the motion for reconsideration, dated 2 May 2017, respondent received a copy of the aforesaid Decision dated 14 March 2017 on 28 April 2017.
