SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) YEAR OF ATTY. CALIXTO B. RAMOS, REVOCATION OF HIS NOTARIAL COMMISSION, IF STILL EXISTING, AND DISQUALIFICATION FROM REAPOINTMENT AS NOTARY PUBLIC FOR A PERIOD OF TWO (2) YEARS

For your information and guidance, attached is a copy of the decision of the First Division of this Court dated 21 June 2005, in Administrative Case No. 6649 entitled, "Marina C. Gonzales vs. Atty. Calixto C. Ramos" ordering the suspension of respondent Atty. Calixto C. Ramos from the practice of law for one (1) year, revocation of his notarial commission, if still existing, and disqualification from reappointment as Notary Public for a period of two (2) years, effective immediately.

The decision was received by the respondent on 20 July 2005 . The Motion for Reconsideration was denied with finality in a resolution dated 23 November 2005.
