SUBJECT : JUSTICE INSTITUTE ON GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE ON 12-14 APRIL 2016 AT THE DIAMOND HOTEL, ROXAS BOULEVARD, MANILA

The Vital Voices Global Partnership, U.S. Department of State and Avon Foundation for Women will sponsor the Justice Institute on Gender-based Violence on 12-14 April 2016, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Diamond Hotel, Roxas Boulevard, Manila. The institute is a multidisciplinary training and technical assistance course that will bring together regional trial court judges, public prosecutors, police officers, social work professionals and representative of local government units and service providers both government and non-government based. The program seeks to improve victim protection efforts and the criminal justice response to domestic violence within the Philippines.

In connection therewith, the following family court judges are hereby authorized to attend the training and technical assistance course, on OFFICIAL TIME, provided that their respective court calendars are properly managed and the parties are notified of any cancelled hearings.
