SUBJECT: SUSPENSION OF ATTY. EDMUNDO J. APUHIN FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS AND REVOCATION OF HIS NOTARIAL COMMISSION; AND DISQUALIFICATION FROM REAPPOINTMENT AS NOTARY PUBLIC FOR TWO (2) YEARS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution dated 5 September 2018 of the Second Division in Administrative Case No. 11826, entitled "Rolando N. Uy vs. Atty. Edmundo J. Apuhin," to wit:

WHEREFORE, the Court finds Atty. Edmundo J. Apuhin LIABLE for violation of Section 12(1) &. (2), Rule II and Section 2(b)(l) & (2), Rule IV of the 2004 Rules on Notarial Practice. Atty. Edmundo J. Apuhin's notarial commission, if presently commissioned, is hereby REVOKED. Further, he is DISQUALIFIED from being commissioned as a Notary Public for two (2) years and is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for six (6) months effective immediately upon receipt of this Resolution.

As per LBC return of service, respondent, thru authorized agent Analiza Latura, received a copy of the Resolution on 26 November 2018.
