SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. MANUEL R. SINGSON FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) YEAR

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Decision dated 5 June 2009 of the Second Division in G.R. No. 157384, entitled "Erlinda I. Bildner and Maximo K. llusorio v. Erlinda K. llusorio, et al. and Atty. Manuel R. Singson," which was re-docketed as a regular Administrative Case No. 8340 entitled, "Re: Decision dated January 16, 2009 in G.R. 157384," to wit:

WHEREFORE, Erlinda L llusorio is adjudged GUILTY of INDIRECT CONTEMPT and is ordered to pay a fine of ten thousand pesos (PhP 10,000). Atty. Manuel R. Singson' is SUSPENDED for ONE (1) YEAR from the practice of law, effective upon his receipt of this Decision. Costs against respondents.
