BANK BULLETIN NO. 2010-34 TO : ALL BIR eFPS-AUTHORIZED AGENT BANKS FROM : The Commissioner of Internal Revenue SUBJECT : Splitting of Some Revenue District Offices DATE : September 6, 2010 ______________________________________________________________________________ This is in connection with Bank Bulletin No 2009-21 dated March 31, 2010 regarding the splitting of some Revenue District Offices (RDOs). It has come to our attention that during the implementation of the enhancement to the Bureau's Electronic Filing and Payment System (eFPS), only a few Authorized Agent Banks (AABs) accepting payment of internal revenue taxes through the eFPS were able to handle transactions from splitted RDOs. Hence, the said enhancement has to be suspended temporarily to accommodate those AABs who are not yet ready. In this regard, all concerned eFPS AABs are hereby advised to make the necessary enhancements to their respective systems until September 30, 2010. After the set deadline, only those eFPS AABs who pass the User Acceptance Test (UAT) as confirmed by the Bureau's Information Systems Group shall be authorized to accept payment from taxpayers under the splitted RDOs. Relative to this, an advisory will be released to all taxpayers under the splitted RDOs to e-pay only to the confirmed eFPS AABs. For your guidance and strict compliance. (Original Signed) KIM S.
