SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS OF ATTY. IRENE C. ISHIWATA

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution of the Third Division dated 13 July 2009, in Administrative Case No. 8279, entitled "Teresita Santos vs. Atty. Irene C. Ishiwata", to wit:

"Acting on respondent's motion for reconsideration of Board Resolution No. XVIl-2007-259 dated 19 June 2007 suspending respondent from the practice of law for six (6) months, the Court resolves to NOTE and APPROVE the Board Resolution No. XVIll-2008-685 dated 11 December 2008 of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines [IBP] Board of Governors, denying respondent's motion for reconsideration. Accordingly, the Court further resolves to SUSPEND respondent from the practice of law for six (6) months." In a Resolution of the Third Division dated 08 February 2010, the Court DEEMED as. SERVED on the respondent and her counsel the copies of the Resolution dated 13 July 2009 sent to their respective addresses which were returned unserved with postal carrier's notation on the envelopes "RTS-MOVED OUT".
