AUTHORIZING THE ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION OF THE MEMBERS OF THE COMMITTEE ON KNOWLEDGE SHARING, COMMITTEE ON PROTOCOL, AND THE SUPREME COURT USHERS AND USHERETTES AT THE SPECIAL CLASSES ON FOREIGN LANGUAGES

In recent years, the Supreme Court has hosted and/or has been involved in several judicial functions involving Chief Justices, justices, and magistrates of foreign jurisdictions.

To enable the officials and employees of the Supreme Court who are assigned to these events to more effectively relate and assist the foreign dignitaries, the Committee on Protocol considers it useful and appropriate to hold special classes on foreign languages at the Supreme Court to familiarize key Court official and members of selected Committees with these foreign languages.

The Semantic Ace for Verbal Excellence (S.A.V.E) in International Language, has been contracted to conduct classes in Spanish, French, and Russian beginning September 11, 2006 from 12 NN - 2:00 PM at the Division Hearing Room on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The following Court officials and personnel are authorized to attend and participate and complete at least one of the special classes:
