SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) YEAR OF ATTY. ELLIS F. JACOBA

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the portion of the Resolution of the Third Division dated 25 June 2008., in Administrative Case No. 5911 entitled, "Amparo C. Cabigas and Nicasio F. Galapon vs. Atty. Ellis F. Jacoba and Atty. Olivia Velasco-Jacoba", to wit;

"The Court resolves to NOTE the Resolution Mo. XVIII- 2008-43 dated 17 January 2008 of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines [IBP] Board of Governors approving with modification the Report and Recommendation dated 21 September 2007 of the Investigating Commissioner (Annex A), and suspending Atty. Ellis Jacoba from the practice of law for one (1) year, but dismissing the case against Atty. Olivia Velasco Jacoba for lack of merit."

Atty. Ellis F. Jacoba received the Resolution on 3 November 2008 per Registry Return Receipt No. 49732.
