MANDATORY CONTINUOUS TRIAL IN ALL COURTS

TO :

REGIONAL TRIAL COURTS, SHARI'A DISTRICT COURTS, METROPOLITAN TRIAL COURTS, MUNICIPAL TRIAL COURTS IN CITIES, MUNICIPAL TRIAL COURTS, MUNICIPAL CIRCUIT TRIAL COURTS, AND SHARI'A CIRCUIT COURTS

SUBJECT : MANDATORY CONTINUOUS TRIAL IN ALL COURTS

A significant decongestion of dockets has been observed in courts conducting mandatory continuous trial. This is a positive indication of the success of the system envisioned under Administrative Circular No. 4.

For this reason, beginning February 15, 1990, all trial courts in the Philippines shall adopt the mandatory continuous trial system pursuant to Administrative Circular No. 4 of this Court, dated September 22, 1988 and Circular No. 1-89, dated January 19, 1989.
