TO : ALL JUDGES IN THE FIRST AND SECOND LEVEL COURTS IN THE NATIONAL CAPITAL JUDICIAL REGION

SUBJECT: DIALOGUE ON THE FIRST DRAFT OF THE NEW RULES OF CIVIL PROCEDURE

The Core Committee for the National Conference for the Revision of the Rules of Civil Procedure has come up with the first draft of the new rules. In order to solicit comments from the different stakeholders, including trial court judges, Justice Roberto A. Abad, the Conference Chairman, together with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and the U.P. Law Center, will be holding a dialogue on the subject on 3 June 2013, 8:00 a.m., at the Ateneo Law School, Rockwell Center, Makati City.

In connection therewith, all first and second level court judges in the National Capital Judicial Region are hereby authorized to attend the dialogue, on OFFICIAL TIME, provided that their court calendars are properly managed and the parties are notified of any cancelled hearings.

Atty. Rigor R. Pascual, Secretary, Core Committee for the National Conference for the Revision of the Rules of Civil Procedure, shall submit a copy of the attendance sheet of the dialogue to the Court Management Office, Office of the Court Administrator, within five (5) days from the conclusion thereof.
