SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY, NAGUIB G. SINARIMBO FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 17 October 2016 of the First Division in Administrative Case No. 9193. entitled "Dialoson A. Amil v. Atty. Naguib G. Sinarimbo," to wit:
The Court resolves to NOTE the Notice of Resolution No. XXI-2015-120 dated January 31, 2015 of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines' Board of Governors which adopted and approved the report and recommendation dated October 21, 2014 of the Investigating Commissioner, and suspended respondent Atty. Naguib G. Sinarimbo from the practice of law for six (6) months for committing acts of transgressions contrary to Rules 1.01, 1.02, and 1.03 of the Code of Professional Responsibility and the Lawyer's Oath of Office, transmitted by letter dated January 12, 2016 of Director Ramon S. Esguerra, Integrated Bar of the Philippines' Commission on Bar Discipline, together with the records and compact disc containing the PDF file of the case.
The Court further resolves to ADOPT and APPROVE the recommendation of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines' Board of Governors in the Notice of Resolution No. XXI-2015-120 dated January 31, 2015 (Annex "A") which adopted and approved the report and recommendation dated October 21, 2014 of the
Investigating Commissioner. Accordingly, respondent Atty. Naguib G. Sinarimbo is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for six (6) months, effective from notice hereof, for committing acts of transgressions contrary to Rules 1.01, 1.02, and 1.03 of the Code of Professional Responsibility and the Lawyer's Oath of Office.
Per Registry Return Receipt No. 55309, respondent, thru counsel Atty. Mama S. Dalandag, received the aforesaid Resolution on 11 December 2016.
