SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) MONTH OF ATTY. RICHARD ANOLIN

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution of the Second Division dated 13 January 2014 in Administrative Case No. 10133 [Formerly CBD Case No. 06-1758] entitled "Atty. Imelda F. Aquino vs. Atty. Richard Anolin," to wit:'

The Court resolves to:

(1) NOTE the IBP Board of Governors' (a) Notice of Resolution No. XVII-2007-275 dated 26 June 2007 which adopted and approved with modification the report and recommendation of the Investigating Commissioner finding the same to be fully supported by the evidence on record and the applicable laws and rules, and suspended respondent from the practice of law for six (6) months for violation of Canon 10.02 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, and (b) Notice of Resolution No. XX-2013-692 dated 20 June 2013 which denied respondent's motion for reconsideration trjere being no cogent reason to reverse the findings of the Commission, and thus affirmed with modification to revert to the Report and Recommendation of the Investigating Commissioner suspending respondent from the practice of law for one (1) month; both transmitted by letter dated 2 October 2013 of Director Dominic CM. Solis, IBP Commission on Bar Discipline, together with the records of the case; and

(2) ADOPT and APPROVE the IBR Board of Governors' Notice of Resolution No. XX-2Q13-692 dated 20 June 2013, and SUSPEND respopdent Atty. Richard Anolin from the practice of law for one (1) month from notice. ;
