SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) YEAR OF ATTY. EDWIN Z. FERRER, SR.

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Decision of the Second Division dated 26 March 2010, in Administrative Case No. 5768, entitled "Atty. Bonifacio T. Barandon, Jr. vs. Atty. Edwin Z. Ferrer, Sr.", to wit:

"ACCORDINGLY, the Court AFFIRMS the May 22, 2008 Resolution of the IBP Board of Governors in CBD Case 01-809 and ORDERS the suspension of Atty. Edwin Z. Ferrer, Sr. from the practice of law for one year effective upon his receipt of this Decision." In a Resolution dated 21 July 2010, the Court DENIED with FINALITY the respondent's motion for reconsideration thereof for lack of substantial merit. Respondent received said Decision on 12 May 2010 per Registry Return Receipt No. 40955.
