SUBJECT

ATTENDANCE AT THE SEMINAR AND WORKSHOP FOR PROSPECTIVE MEDIATORS/CONCILIATORS

The Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA) in coordination with the Supreme Court-United Nations Development Programme (SC-UNDP) Technical Assistance to the Philippine Judiciary on Justice and Development and the PHILEXPORT-TAPS will conduct a Seminar-Workshop for prospective mediators/conciliators for the Pilot Testing of Mediation/Conciliation in selected Regional Trial Courts and Metropolitan Trial Courts of Mandaluyong City and Valenzuela, Metro Manila. The Seminar-Workshop shall be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 25, 26 and 27, 1999, at the Subic International Hotel, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo City.

The following Judges are authorized to attend the live-in Seminar-Workshop at the Subic International Hotel:

1. Judge Amalia F. Dy Regional Trial Court (Branch 213) Mandaluyong City

2. Judge Edwin D. Sorongon Regional Trial Court (Branch 214) Mandaluyong City

3. Judge Myrna L. Verano Metropolitan Trial Court (Branch 59) Mandaluyong City

4. Judge Ma. Luisa Q. Padilla Metropolitan Trial Court (Branch 60) Mandaluyong City

5. Judge Adriano R. Osorio Regional Trial Court (Branch 171)

Valenzuela, Metro Manila

6. Judge Jaime F. Bautista Regional Trial Court (Branch 75)

Valenzuela, Metro Manila

7 Judge Floro P. Alejo Regional Trial Court (Branch 172) Valenzuela, Metro Manila

8. Judge Winlove M. Dumayas Metropolitan Trial Court (Branch 81) Valenzuela, Metro Manila.

The judges from Mandaluyong City and Valenzuela, Metro Manila, should assemble at their respective Hall of Justice buildings at or about o'clock in the morning. The vans assigned to them shall fetch them at or about 11:30 o'clock in the morning and then transport them to the Subic International Hotel, Subic Freeport Zone, Olongapo City.

All participants shall check in at the Subic International Hotel not later than 2:30 o'clock in the afternoon of Friday, June 25, 1999 and shall check out after lunch, not later than 1:30 o'clock in the afternop of Sunday, June 27,1999.

Attendance in the Seminar-Workshop is mandatory and shall lot'm official business. Formal business attire is required. No companion? and no substitution of participants shall be allowed.

Registration of participants shall start at 2:30 o'clock in'the afternoon on Friday, June 25, 1999.
