AUTHORIZING THE ATTENDANCE OF SELECTED JUDGES OF THE COURTS OF THE FIRST AND SECOND LEVELS IN THE PROVINCES OF CEBU AND PALAWAN AT THE ENVIRONMENTAL LAWSEMINAR-WORKSHOP

The Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA), in partnership with The Royal Netherlands Embassy, assisted by the United Nations Development Programme -Global Environment Facility - Small Grants Programme (UNDP-GEF-SGP), International Visitor Program - Philippines Alumni Foundation, Inc., and the Haribon Foundation through the ANEST for Biodiversity Conservation in the Philippines Project, will conduct an Environmental Law Seminar-Workshop for selected Judges of the courts of the first and second levels in the Provinces of Cebu and Palawan from 30 November to 2 December 2005 at the Cebu Business Hotel, Cebu City.

The attendance of the participants in this seminar-workshop shall be MANDATORY and on OFFICIAL TIME. All property documented travel expenses shall be reimbursed.

The participating Judges should see to it their respective court calendars are properly managed for the duration of their preparation in the seminar-workshop and the parties are notified in advance of any cancellation of hearings.

Formal business attire is required. No companion and substitution of participants shall be allowed.
