SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) YEAR OF ATTY. CARLOS Z. AMBROSIO

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the Second Division dated 28 July 2014 in Administrative Case No. 7166, entitled "Milagros Ong Siy vs. Atty. Carlos Z. Ambrosio," to wit:

The Court RESOLVES to ADOPT and APPROVE the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommendations of the Board of Governors in IBP Notice of Resolution No. XX-2011-249 dated 19 November 2011 (Annex "A") which adopted and approved with modification the report and recommendation of the Investigating Commissioner in the attached Report dated 5 February 2010 (Annex "B"). Accordingly, the Court SUSPENDS respondent for one (1) year from the practice of law and ORDERS him to (1) return to complainant the amount of 6550,000.00 with 12% interest until full payment, and (2) inform the Court whether he has paid said amount within five (5) days from the notice.

Respondent received on 2 October 2014 the Resolution dated 28 July 2014.
