DIRECTING SELECTED OFFICIALS AND OTHER PERSONNEL OF THE SUPREME COURT, COURT OF APPEALS, SANDIGANBAYAN AND COURT OF TAX APPEAT S TO ATTEND/PARTICIPATE IN THE SHORT-TERM COURSE ENTITLED "TOWARDS A STRENGTHENED HRD OF THE PHILIPPINE JUDICIARY" UNDER THE PAHRDF-SC PARTNERING AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Philippines-Australia Human Resource Development Facility (PAHRDF) has chosen the Supreme Court as one of its targeted institutions in the Philippines to be a recipient of both short-term and long-term scholarships and training programs offered by the Australian government through the PAHRDF which are primarily aimed at improving the capacity of the SC to help alleviate poverty and contribute towards a sustainable and equitable development;
WHEREAS, his Honor signed for and in behalf of the Court a Partnering Agreement with the PAHRDF where the latter agreed to provide specific funding support to the approved short-term and long-term scholarships and trainings and the SC, to support the implementation of these activities under the terms and conditions set forth in the Agreement.
WHEREAS, a HRD Analysis of the present system of the Judiciary, in general, was undertaken to determine the institutional strategies for change which will respond to the Court's mandate. Based thereon, a short-term HRD Course was developed entitled, "Towards a Strengthened HRD of the Philippine Judiciary", which comprises the following activities for each different component to be held on the schedule opposite them:

11 -12 February - Travel to Australia
