AUTHORIZING THE CONDUCT OF ACTION PROGRAM FOR JUDICIAL REFORM (APJR) ADVOCACY WORKSHOP IN THE LOWER COURTS OF PALAWAN AND THE ATTENDANCE OF THE PERSONNEL THEREIN

As part of the information dissemination campaign for the Action Program for Judicial Reform (APJR), the Program Management Office (PMO) has scheduled Advocacy Workshops in the different judicial regions in the country. The workshops aim to inter alia: (1) deepen the understanding of the APJR and its implications; (2) generate support and commitment to implement and sustain the reform objectives and activities and widen its support base; (3) mobilize commitment to implement and sustain the reform objectives and activities; and (4) secure from the stakeholders confirmation of their engagement in, and commitment to, the objectives of the APJR.

The workshop in Puerto Princesa, Palawan will be held on 15-16 May 2003 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Legend Hotel, Puerto Princesa City.

Participation in said workshop shall be on official time. Expenses related to this workshop such as food, accommodation, and other miscellaneous expenses shall be charged to the World Bank PHRD Grant; however, transportation, expense allowances, supplies and materials, gasoline and other contingencies shall be charged to the GOP counterpart fund of the PMO. Above-named participants are requested to give priority to the undertaking.
