SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS OF ATTY. VICTOR C. AVECILLA
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Decision of the Court En Bane dated 21 June 2011, in Administrative Case No. 6683, entitled "Re: Resolution of the Court dated 1 June 2004 in G.R-No. 72954 against Atty. Victor C. Avecilla," to wit:
" WHEREFORE , in light of the foregoing premises, the respondent is hereby SUSPENDED from the practice of law for six (6) months. The respondent is also STERNLY WARNED that a repetition of a similar offense in the future will be dealt with more severely."
Respondent and his counsel, Atty. Palarca, received on 30 June 2011 the said Decision, thru their authorized agents, Salve Serrano and Teresita P. de la Cueva, respectively. To date, respondent has not filed a motion for reconsideration.
