SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) MONTH OF ATTYS. ROLANDO S. SANTOS AND DANILO C. REYES

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution of the First Division dated 7 April 2015 in Administrative Case No. 6997 entitled "Jose A. Crisostomo, Jr. vs. Attys. Rolando S. Santos, Danilo C. Reyes, Leilanie Dacanay-Grimares, Rosemarie Tejada :Gonzales, and Lualhati C. Cruz of R.S. Santos Law Firm," to wit:

The Court resolves to ADOPT and APPROVE the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommendations of the Investigating Commissioner in the attached Report dated October 22, 2009 (Annex A) as approved with modification by the Board of Governors of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines in IBP Board Resolution No. XX-2011-121 dated September 18, 2011 (Annex B). Accordingly:

(1) respondents Attys. Rolando S. Santos and Danilo C. Reyes are hereby SUSPENDED from the practice of law for one (1) month effective from notice hereof; and

(2) the complaint against the other respondents is DISMISSED as Atty. Leilanie D. Grimares is not actually a partner nor associate of the RS Santos Law Firm and there being no evidence against Atty. Rosemarie T. Gonzalez that she actually participated in the signing of the demand letter to complainant.
