SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS OF ATTY. FREDDIE A. VENIDA

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution of the Third Division dated 20 August 2014 in Administrative Case No. 9972 entitled "Raul K. San Buenaventura vs. Atty. Arturo S. Santos, Atty. Rodolfo T. Gascon and Atty. Freddie A. Venida," to wit:

Acting on the complaint against respondents, the Court resolves to ADOPT and APPROVE the findings of fact, conclusions of law and recommendation of the Investigating Commissioner as approved by the Board of Governors of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines in its Board Resolution No. XX-2012-670 dated December 29, 2012.

Accordingly, the instant administrative case against respondent Atty. Arturo S. Santos is DISMISSED for lack of merit; respondent Atty. Rodolfo T. Gascon is REPRIMANDED for violation of Rule 12.03 of the Code of Professional Responsibility; and respondent Atty. Freddie A. Venida is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for six (6) months for violation of Rules 12.03 and 12.04 of the Code of Professional Responsibility.

In a Resolution dated 15 July.2015, the Court DEEMED AS SERVED the returned and unserved copy of this Resolution dated 20 August 2014 to Atty. Freddie A. Venida.
