SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR THREE (3) MONTHS OF ATTY. REYNALDO Q. MARQUEZ
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the First Division dated 10 June 2009 in Administrative Case No. 4414, entitled "Judge Arcadio I. Manigbas vs. Atty. Reynaldo Q. Marquez," to wit:
(1) to NOTE Resolution No. XV-2002-595 dated 14 December 2002 of the Board of Governors of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines adopting the report and recommendation of the Investigating Commissioner with the modification that respondent be suspended from the practice of law for three (3) months; and
(2) to ADOPT and APPROVE the aforesaid IBP resolution. Accordingly, respondent Atty. Reynaldo Q. Marquez is hereby SUSPENDED from the practice of law for three (3) months.
In a Resolution dated 21 October 2000, the Court merely noted the respondent's motion for reconsideration.
