SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. FERDINAND J. TAMSE FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) MONTH

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 31 August 2016 of the Second Division in Administrative Case No. 11262, entitled "Alicia E. Mababa v. Atty. Ferdinand J. Tamse," to wit:

WHEREFORE, finding the recommendation of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines to be supported by the evidence on record and the applicable laws and rules, this Court ADOPTS and APPROVES Resolution No. XXI-2015-308 dated April 19, 2015. For violating Canon 1, Rule 1.01 of the ' Code of Professional Responsibility, respondent Atty. Ferdinand J. Tamse is hereby SUSPENDED from the practice of law for a period of one (1) month from notice. Atty. Tamse is further DIRECTED to submit a manifestation informing the Court of the date when he received a copy of this Resolution, with copies furnished to the Office of the Bar Confidant, the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, and the Office of the Court Administrator.

Respondent received the Resolution on 28 September 2016.
