SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. WILLIAM N. MIRANO FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) YEAR

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Decision dated 17 August 2016 of the First Division in Administrative Case No. 2404, entitled " Nilo B. Diongzon v. Atty. William Mirano," to wit: .

ACCORDINGLY , the Court AFFIRMS the Resolution adopted on February 13, 2013 by the Board of Governors of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines; FINDS and DECLARES Atty. William N. Mirano guilty of ethical misconduct due to conflict of interest, and, ACCORDINGLY, SUSPENDS him from the practice of law for ONE YEAR , effective immediately upon receipt of this decision.

As stated in his manifestation of compliance dated 22 September 2016, respondent received the aforesaid Decision on 21 September 2016.
