AUTHORIZING THE ATTENDANCE IN THE PROJECT VISIONING SCOPING AND TEAM BUILDING WORKSHOP FOR THE "STENGTHENING JUDICIARY-MEDIA RELATIONS" PROJECT

The Asian Institute of Journalism and Communication (AIJC) will conduct on 11 February 2004 at the Pan Pacific Hotel from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. a Project Visioning, Scoping and Team Building Workshop for the full implementation of the "Strengthening Judiciary-Media Relations" Project of the Asia Foundation.

The objective of this workshop is to develop a common understanding of the project, encourage ownership of the project and its implementation, and foster a team spirit among the AIJC Project Team and the key personnel from the offices of the Supreme Court which are directly involved in media relations, namely, the Public Information Office (PIO), the Office of the Court Administrator (OCA), the Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA), and the Program Management Office (PMO).

The following court officials and employees are hereby authorized to attend and actively participate in the workshop:

PIO:

Participation in the workshop shall be on official time. Except for the food expenses which will be chargeable to the GOP Counterpart Fund, all other expenses will be charged to the Asia Foundation.

The above-named participants are enjoined to give priority to this undertaking.
