SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS OF ATTY. RIZ TINGALON L. DAVIS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution elated 12 November 2014 of the Court (Second Division) in A.C. No. 9395, entitled "Daria O. Daging vs. Atty. Riz Tingalon L. Davis," to wit:

WHEREFORE, the Court ADOPTS and AFFIRMS the January 15, 2012 Resolution of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Board of Governors. Atty. Riz Tingalon L Davis is found GUILTY of violating Rule 15.03, Canon 15 of the Code of Professional Responsibility and is hereby SUSPENDED from the practice of law for a period of six (6) months effective upon receipt of this Resolution. He is warned that a commission of the same or similar offense in the future will result in the imposition of a stiffer penalty.

In a Resolution dated 15 April 2015, the Court NOTED the compliance with the utmost deference to the Court dated 1 December 2014, by counsel for respondent, informing the Court that they received the Resolution dated 14 November 2014 and the Notice of Judgment dated 17 November 2014 on 28 November 2014.
