RENAMING THE SUBCOMMITTEE ON HISTORY OF THE JUDICIARY AS THE COMMITTEE ON THE HISTORY OF THE JUDICIARY AND APPOINTING ITS NEW OFFICERS AND MEMBERS

Administrative Order No. 138-a dated 2S August 1995 created the Subcommittee on the History of the Judiciary as a Subcommittee of the National Centennial Commission. The latter has become functus officio . However, in view of the centenary of the Supreme Court on 11 June 2001 and the holding of various pre-centenary programs and activities, some of which may be continued or new ones pursued after 11 June 2001, there is a need not only to maintain the regular work of the subcommittee but to broaden its functions and responsibilities and elevate its status into a regular committee and to appoint the new officials and members thereof.

WHEREFORE, the Subcommittee on the History of the judiciary created under Adm. Order No. 138-a dated 28 August 1995 is hereby elevated into a committee known as the COMMITTEE ON THE HISTORY OF THE JUDICIARY and shall be composed of:
