SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS OF ATTY. NARCISO HABACON
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the First Division dated 18 March 2009 , in Administrative Case No. 6951 entitled "Ma. Dolores C. Endique vs. Atty. Narciso Hahacon", to wit:
WHEREFORE, we ADOPT and APPROVE the findings of fact and conclusions of law of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines in the Resolution No. XVIIl-2007-142 dated 28 September 2007 . Considering, however, that respondent has already returned to complainant the P30.500, the recommended penalty of SUSPENSION for six (6) months from the practice of law is sustained. Respondent is warned that a repetition of the same or similar offense shall be dealt with more severely.
Respondent is likewise directed to submit certification from the IBP and competent courts that he has indeed ceased and desisted from the practice of law during his suspension which shall commence from his receipt of this Resolution."
The First Division in its Resolution dated 22. June 2009 NOTED respondent's undated notice informing the Court that in compliance with the Resolution dated 18 March 2009 he will not practice law starting 31 March 2009 up to 30 September 2009 .
