SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS OF ATTY. NONNATUS P. CHUA

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the Third Division dated 17 July 2013 in Administrative Case No. 6942, entitled "Sonic Steel Industries, Inc. v. Atty. Nonnatus P. Chua," to wit:

WHEREFORE, premises considered, respondent Atty. Nonnatus P. Chua is hereby SUSPENDED from the practice of law for six (6) months with ADMONITION that a repetition of the same or similar act in the future will be dealt with more severely.

In a Resolution dated 3 February 2014, the Court DENIED with FINALITY the respondent's motion for reconsideration as no substantial matters were raised to warrant its reconsideration.
