SUBJECT: SUSPENSION OF ATTY. MADISON B. GABAYAN FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) YEAR AND REVOCATION OF HIS NOTARIAL COMMISSION AND DISQUALIFICATION FROM REAPPOINTMENT AS NOTARY PUBLIC FOR TWO (2) YEARS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 23 July 2018 of the First Division in Administrative Case No. 9271, entitled "Mario Ramir T. Beltran v. Atty. Madison B. Gabayan," to wit:

WHEREFORE, the Complaint is GRANTED Atty. Madison B. Gabayan is found GUILTY of violating the 2004 Rules on Notarial Practice. Accordingly, we order Atty. Gabayan's SUSPENSION from the practice of law for a period of one (1) year and the REVOCATION of his notarial commission for a period of two (2) years, both to commence immediately from receipt of this Resolution.

Let a copy of this Resolution be furnished the Office of the Bar Confidant, to be attached to respondent's personal record as a member of the Bar. Furthermore, let copies of the same be served on the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and Office of the Court Administrator, which is directed to circulate them to all courts in the country for their information and guidance.

As per Registry Return Receipt No. 104291, respondent, thru agent Ulyndelle Marc Fabiosa, received the copy of the aforesaid Resolution, without indicating the date of receipt.
