ATTENDANCE AT THE SEMINAR-WORKSHOP ON STRENGTHENING THE LEGAL PROTECTION OF CHILDREN

The Philippine Judicial Academy (PhilJA), the Ateneo Human Rights Center, the Department of Justice, the Save the Children Fund-UK, the Center for Child Advocacy and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) will jointly conduct a Seminar-Workshop on "Strengthening the Legal Protection of Children" for, among others, Judges and Social Welfare Officers of the Regional Trial Courts handling cases falling within the jurisdiction of the Family Courts in Regions 4 and 5. The Seminar-Workshop shall be held on July 29 and 30, 1999 at the Century Park Hotel, P. Ocampo Street, Malate, Manila.

The following Judges and Social Welfare Officers of the Regional Trial Courts in Regions 4 and 5 shall attend the live-in Seminar-Workshop at the Century Park Hotel:

Participants can already check in at the Century Park Hotel ituthe afternoon of July 28,1999, Wednesday. All participants shall check out in.the morning of July 31,1999, Saturday. No companions and no substitution of participants shall be allowed.

All travel expenses properly documented shall be reimbursed by the Ateneo Human Rights Center. Attendance in the Seminar-Workshops mandatory and shall be on official business. Formal business attire is required.

Registration of participants shall start at 7:30 o'clock in the moi July 29,1999, Thursday.
