SUBJECT ATTENDANCE AT THE SEMINAR-WORKSHOP ON STRENGTHENING THE LEGAL PROTECTION OF CHILDREN
The Philippine Judicial Academy (PhilJA), the Ateneo Human Rights Center, the Department of Justice, the Save the Children Fund-UK, the Center for Child Advocacy and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) will jointly conduct a Seminar-Workshop on "Strengthening the Legal Protection of Children" for, among others, Judges and Social Welfare Officers of the Regional Trial Courts handling cases falling within the jurisdiction of the Family Courts in Regions 9, 10, 11 and 12. The SeminatWorkshop shall be held on Thursday and Friday, April 22 and 23, 1999, at the Insular Century Hotel Davao, Lanang, Davao City.
The following Judges and Social Welfare Officers of the Regional Trial Courts in Regions 9, 10, 11 and 12 shall attend the live-in Seminar-Worksho p at the Insular Century Hotel Davao:

Participants who are not from Davao City can already check in at the Insular Century Hotel Davao in the afternoon of Wedn esday, April 21, 1999. All participants shall check out in the morning of Saturday., April 24, 1999.
All travel expenses properly documented shall be reimbursed by the Ateneo Human Rights Center. Attendance in the Seminar-Workshop is mandatory and shall be on official business. Formal business attire is required. No companions and no substitution of participants shall be allowed.
Registration of participants shall start at 7:30 o'clock in the morning on Thursday, April 22, 1999.
