SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR THREE (3) MONTHS OF ATTY. FRANCISCO DY YAP

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the Third Division dated 11 March 2015 in Administrative Case No. 5914 entitled "Spouses Rogelio Amatorio and Aida Amatorio vs. Atty. Francisco Dy Yap and Whelma F. Siton-Yap," to wit:

WHEREFORE, for deliberately misleading the Court, Atty: Francisco Dy Yap is hereby SUSPENDED from the practice of law for a period of three (3) months effective upon receipt of this Resolution, with a STERN WARNING that a repetition of the same or similar act in the future shall be dealt with severely.

For lack of evidence of her participation in the misconduct, Atty. Whelma F. Siton-Yap is hereby EXONERATED of the charges against her.

Respondents, thru counsel, received on 13 April 2015, the said Resolution.
