SUBJECT : LIFTING OF SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW OF ATTY. CARLOS C. ABESAMIS FOR SIX (6) MONTHS
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 5 December 2016 of the Third Division in Administrative Case No. 7228, entitled "Ederlinda B. Arcilla v. Atty. Carlos C. Abesamis,” to wit:
Respondent's compliance with the Resolution dated September 28, 2016, submitting his proof of payment of the P 5,000.00 court fine imposed on him in the same resolution and praying for the lifting of his suspension is NOTED.
Acting on the Report and Recommendation dated November 28, 2016 of Office of the Bar Confidant (OBC) on respondent's said compliance, finding that as respondent has fully served his six (6) months suspension from the practice of law as mandated in the Resolution of March 11, 2015, and having paid the said court fine, the Court, upon the recommendation of the OBC, resolves to LIFT the order of suspension of respondent from the practice of law and ALLOW him to RESUME his law practice.
The said Report and Recommendation dated November 28, 2016 of the OBC is NOTED.
Case is considered CLOSED and TERMINATED.
