SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR THREE (3) MONTHS OF ATTY. JUAN C. SIAPNO, JR.

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the pertinent portion of the Resolution of the First Division dated 13 November 2013 in Administrative Case No. 9960, entitled " Angelita Santiago vda. de Braganza v. Atty. Juan C. Siapno, Jr.," to wit:

WHEREFORE, we SUSPEND respondent Atty. Juan C. Siapno, Jr. from the practice of law for three months with a warning that a repetition of the same or a similar act will be dealt with more severely, and DIRECT him to RETURN to complainant Angelita Santiago vda. de Braganza the amount of P 236,000 within 30 days from notice hereof.
